Caribou Airways was founded on a simple belief: travel has the power to bring people together. Inspired by the strong connections between Canada and the Caribbean, Caribou Airways was created to build a new kind of airline — one that combines Canadian reliability with Caribbean hospitality.
Our journey began in Hamilton, Ontario, with a vision to create an airline focused on affordable travel, meaningful connections, and exceptional customer experiences. Recognising the growing demand for stronger links between Canadian communities and Caribbean destinations, we set out to develop a long-term plan for an airline that would serve both regions with pride.
Today, Caribou Airways is in the development stage, focused on building a strong foundation for the future. We are actively working on business planning, industry engagement, airport partnerships, fleet strategy, and brand development as we move closer to making our vision a reality.
Our planned operations will be centred at Hamilton International Airport — a growing gateway that reflects our commitment to efficient operations, customer convenience, and sustainable growth. Through a phased approach, Caribou Airways aims to develop a route network that connects Canadians to opportunities, family, business, and unforgettable destinations throughout the Caribbean and beyond.
Looking ahead, our goal is not simply to launch an airline. Our goal is to create a trusted Canadian aviation brand that serves communities, supports tourism, creates jobs, and strengthens relationships between people and cultures.
